Wii Drawing Games

In a bid to keep up with the competition Nintendo seems to be ahead of other gaming formats. Once the Wii became popular it was not long before Sony and Microsoft were following their lead by adding motion sensor controllers and games. The Wii drawing tablet may be the next addition to this process. This is a peripheral device useable with several new game titles.
Pictionary
Pictionary has been a family fun night favorite for many years, but it is also time consuming to set up and quite a mess when you are done! Scraps of paper and broken pencil nubs generally litter the den or living room when you are finished. Wii took the old game and digitized it for use with the Wii drawing tablet, breathing new life into a family favorite.
There are a few twists and unique issues to playing Wii Pictionary; some even find it more challenging than the original. In addition to drawing for teams you can also play the board game, which includes squares that may tell you to draw with your opposite hand, (left hand if you are right handed.) Thankfully this does not detract from the good fun you can have with the Wii drawing tablet and Pictionary.
Dood's Big Adventure
Dood's Big Adventure is a side scrolling adventure game, similar in nature to the Mario games, but with some big differences. Instead of merely running through the different levels you can color Dood, enemies and background. Basically you get to customize the game to your personal preferences, this in and of itself can become another "level" of the game as you color coordinate each level to your character.
Younger children are particular fond of the roly-poly game mode. In this Dood is contained within a hamster ball, which you roll around through the levels by tilting the Wii drawing tablet. You may also enjoy bubble mode or pen frenzy, which is the most challenging.
SpongeBob Squigglepants
If you or your children love this yellow porous character SpongeBob Squigglepants and the Wii drawing tablet is the game for you. You can tilt, draw and tap your way through a variety of Nano games featuring everyone's favorite yellow character. There is also exclusive artwork released from the Nickelodeon vault specifically for this game. Custom paint, stamps and much more are all a part of the experience with this Wii drawing tablet game.
Conclusion
As the popularity of the Wii drawing tablet increases you are sure to see more games. At this point there are only a few select titles to choose from such as uDraw, Pictionary and Dood's Adventure. If you have been looking for interactive games that kids of all ages will enjoy this tablet and games are a good choice. Reviewers are raving about the fun and simplicity of game titles; some are even fighting with the kids for a turn!
